Welcome to Wilderness Integrated Leadership Development, LLC (“W.I.L.D.,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website https://www.wildernessild.net , as well as participation in our programs, courses, events, and services.

By accessing this Website or engaging with our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or participate in our programs.

You agree to use this Website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not violate applicable laws or regulations or infringe upon the rights of others.

You agree not to:

W.I.L.D. provides outdoor leadership development, wilderness education, and wilderness medicine-related training. Participation in our programs involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical exertion, environmental hazards, and medical emergencies.

By registering or participating, you acknowledge and accept these risks and agree to follow all instructions, safety guidelines, and policies provided by W.I.L.D. staff and instructors.

Wilderness Integrated Leadership Development, LLC (W.I.L.D.) provides professional education, training, and certification programs in wilderness medicine, outdoor leadership, and related disciplines.

Courses offered by W.I.L.D. are designed to train, evaluate, and credential individuals to operate within the defined scope of practice associated with the certification earned, after successful completion of required coursework, skills assessments, and credentialing requirements established by W.I.L.D.

W.I.L.D. certifications indicate that, at the time of course completion, the participant has demonstrated the knowledge, skills, and decision-making abilities required to function within the scope of that certification in wilderness, remote, or austere environments.

However:

• W.I.L.D. does not provide real-time medical oversight, online medical direction, or on-scene medical command outside of structured training environments. (unless contracted to do so)
• W.I.L.D. does not establish or replace state, federal, or employer-mandated licensure requirements.
• Medical care provided by credentialed individuals remains the responsibility of the individual provider, operating within their training, certification scope, applicable laws, and organizational or employer policies.

Training, instruction, simulations, and educational materials are not a substitute for clinical judgment, professional licensure where required, or access to emergency medical services when available.

Participants and credentialed individuals are responsible for:

• Knowing and adhering to their scope of practice
• Understanding applicable laws and regulations in their operating environment
• Seeking higher medical care or evacuation when appropriate and available

Participation in wilderness and outdoor activities involves inherent risks that cannot be eliminated. By participating in W.I.L.D. programs, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation, including injury, illness, or death. (through means of our participation wavier)

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Wilderness Integrated Leadership Development, LLC, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, volunteers, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising out of participation, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

• Course registration is not complete until payment is received.
• All fees, pricing, and schedules are subject to change.
• Refunds, transfers, or cancellations are governed by the specific refund policy provided at the time of registration.
• Failure to attend or complete a course does not guarantee a refund.

Certificates issued by W.I.L.D. acknowledge completion of training conducted by our organization. They do not guarantee employment, licensure, or acceptance by third-party agencies or governing bodies.

Recognition of certifications is subject to employer, agency, or jurisdictional requirements.

Certifications can only be fully obtained and issued upon completion of the "CERTIFICATION ACCEPTANCE & LIABILITY RELEASE AGREEMENT"
